The NCSP has a target to enable community solar to power the equivalent of 5 million households by 2025 with $1 billion in energy savings and other meaningful benefits. This year’s summit theme, ‘Community Solar – Deploying Benefits & Delivering Impacts,’ reflects on how the industry has proven its ability to deliver meaningful benefits through exemplary projects and programs that have leveraged innovative policies, business models, financing, and community leadership. The sessions at this year’s summit will explore what ‘scale’ can look like for community solar - both in terms of its technical potential to deliver clean energy to the grid and the beneficial impact that achieving this technical potential can have on households and communities. It will also feature interactive sessions, led by industry experts and practitioners that will take deeper dives into the models, incentives, and tools that are ready to help the industry achieve its technical potential.
